Established in 1839, Glendale Cemetery is an intact example of a 19th century picturesque rural cemetery. Notable features include a recently restored 1876 Gothic Chapel, and Cypress Avenue, located on the valley floor and lined with mausoleums showing Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Art Moderne and Gothic architectural influences.
